Our Practice

​

At the Park Avenue Medical Clinic we have seven Family Practitioners that offer different appointment options which include Planned Care Bookings and Same Day Bookings. 

​

Planned Care Appointments are spots that can be booked ahead of time but are solely based on the doctors availability. Planned Care spots are limited. Times vary for each Doctor. Some examples of appointments that should be booked in advance in these spots are:

  • Prescription Refills

  • Prenatal 

  • Post Natal

  • Driver's Medicals

  • Baby Checks

  • Well Woman Exams (including Pap Smears)

  • Complete Physicals

 

Same Day Bookings are spots that can be booked each morning. These appointments are not always guaranteed as some doctors' schedules can change quickly due to unforeseen reasons or urgent matters. If you have a medical issue or are experiencing symptoms that arise that day, we suggest using the same day bookings to be seen the day of. You book these appointments by calling at 9:00 am and simply wait on the phone line.

We understand that wait times may be long some mornings, but we recommend you stay on the line and do not hang up as you will lose your place. 

Our staff does their best to work efficiently and quickly to answer all phone calls.

Punctuality is important! 

Please be aware that if you book an appointment and fail to make it on time, you may be subject to a fee of $81.30.

This is not to penalize you, but rather to cover the overhead that the clinic must pay for the time missed, which is not covered by MSP, due to your absence.

If you book an appointment please be on time.

If you are unable to attend a booked appointment, please give a minimum 24 hours notice to cancel the appointment.

and are subject to a fee.

  • Complete Physicals in a Healthy Individuals (not at the request of a physician)

  • CPP, MOT or Insurance Company Examination 

  • Sports or Camp Fitness Examination 

  • Industrial First Aid Examination

  • Cosmetic Liquid Nitrogen

  • Cosmetic Mole/Lesion Excision

  • Travel Vaccinations​
